Pelvic Floor Therapy with Kathy Kates, FNP/PHS

The woman who has endured breast cancer comes out on the other side of treatment with many unseen wounds and unexpected challenges.

We often hear our women expressing concern about how breast cancer treatment has affected their intimate life. Thousands of women have joined our private Sex After Breast Cancer Facebook group to find solutions to issues such as painful intercourse, lack of libido and more.

One of the least known areas in women's health that should be explored to address those concerns is pelvic floor therapy. We are delighted to introduce our Contributing Expert Kathy Kates, who is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a specialty of pelvic health. Her warm style of educating women, combined with the fact that she has also faced breast cancer and the related challenges, is sure to bring solutions to our growing community.

You can read more about Kathy on our Meet Our Experts page.

Welcome, Kathy! And THANK YOU for sharing your expertise with our women!
