What's in a Name?

I never anticipated the types of questions I'd have for naming us "Hope After Breast Cancer."

"I would like to join. I’m still in treatment though. Is that ok?"

"I have MBC. There will never be an 'after breast cancer' for me."

I have told many women that our website should have been 

hopeafterbreastcancercomesintoyourlife-

likeabullinachinashopandwreckseverythinginsight.com

But it didn't seem memorable to me.

"Hope" was created for every one of you who has been touched by breast cancer. Who has just been diagnosed. Who has endured breast cancer. Who has been through war with cancer. Who continues their war against cancer. Who hates cancer. 

I'm right there with you.

So don't fret about whether you "qualify" to be part of our tribe.
